Developing professional skills is an essential component of a graduate student's or post doc's career. PD@ISU contains the applications and forms you need to participate in events that will accelerate your professional development.

By participating in the PD@ISU programs and by attending other professional events listed on the Grauate College Professional Development page, you can develop these core competencies to accelerate your professional development.

To get started click on the Events > Professional Development link, sign up for an account and clcik My Profile to get started. Then you can:

• Use "Programs" to apply for professional development programs offered by Iowa State University.
• Use "All Events" to browse events offered by both ISU and national organizations.
• Use "My Events" to see which events you have signed up to attend.
