Welcome to the Graduate College Career Services Office! We are pleased to offer assistance to graduate students and postdoctoral scholars to help you begin your career planning. We provide training on a variety of career search strategies, such as Resume and Curriculum Vitae (CV) development, online presence (LinkedIn/Twitter), job search skills, networking, interview tips, mock interviews, negotiation, and other support you may need while looking for your future career. I have been the Senior Career Services Specialist of the Graduate College Career Services Office since 2015. I enjoy coaching graduate students and postdocs on many aspects of career planning for their post-academic careers. I assist them in learning how to navigate the many facets of a career search (networking, resumes, CV’s, interviewing, negotiation). As students and scholars practice their new skills they become more confident in their job search. They are better prepared to "promote" themselves in their career search. When a student/scholar accepts the first post-academic job, I’m probably as proud as a parent of their accomplishments.
